About AMCC India:
AMCC has commenced its India Design Center in Dec 2008 with a view to tap the ample talent in the VLSI domain and for embedded software development and QA. Based in Kalyaninagar, Pune, the state of the art facility would house multiple teams for SOC RTL design and verification, high speed board design, validation, embedded software development and QA of the same. In near future, it would be the largest development center outside of USA.

Job Description
Position: Modeling & Tools Engineer (Eclipse)
Location: Pune
Responsibilities
* Develop JNI interfaces between virtual hardware platform backend and Java front end.
* Create coherent XML DOM/SAX access interfaces between front-end GUI and backend.
* Write plugins extending the Eclipse CDT/RSE platforms
Requirements
* Academic: B.E/B.Tech/MS in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering
* Previous experience: 2-4 years with B.E/B.Tech or 0-2 years with M.S in relevant and concerned field
* Must have experience developing plugins that contribute perspectives, views and editors extension points.
* Must have experience deploying plugins as stand-alone RCP applications as well as plugins
* Must possess a solid understanding of Eclipse internals
Optional Experience
* Experience with integrating Jacl/Tcl-java
* Experience with Java I/O and concurrency
