Job Description:

· 8 – 10 years experience in defining architecture and designing applications in .net environment

· Must have lead development teams in terms of technology, architecture, design, implementation and hands on coding experience.

· Knowledge of databases, communication software and protocol, development and test tools.

· Must be familiar with MS Visual Studio, MS .NET framework and the C# programming language

· Telecom Domain knowledge would be a BIG plus

· Excellent problem solving skills, must be able to understand and decode complex technical issues

· Strong knowledge of UML based design & tools (Enterprise Architect), Design patterns, .net framework 2.0+, C#, ASP.Net, Web Services, XML, SQL Server, WCF, WWF, WPF

· In depth understanding of Web services

· Understanding of PBX solutions and systems, in particular computer telephony integrations



Responsibilities:



· Take complete ownership of defining architecture for the product in the allocated business unit. This includes defining architecture for new products, modifying existing architecture to meet more stringent performance requirements or new functional requirements

· Write new architecture documents, modify and/or review existing documents – includes High Level System Architecture and Design Documents

· Should be able to work with Technical Leads to ensure that teams follow the defined architecture

· Participate in Design/Code reviews

· Ensure that the deliverables meet functional and non-functional requirements

· Provide competence and skills for the development and operation of the software
