Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 1 year of experience in software development is required for Software Engineer and 0-1 year of experience is required for Associate Software Engineer in software development projects in core technology required for the job (Java, J2EE, SQL for java stream, Informix 4GL, SQL, and Unix for Informix stream)
- Ability to understand and willingness to participate in the software development process including but not limited to Design, Development, Integration, Documentation, and Quality Assurance
- Ability to understand technical problems and work in a challenging environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills
- Good analytical and logical skills
- Understanding of the basic programming concepts (object-oriented analysis and design and database design skills etc.)
Job Description
- Develop software modules, Assist in requirement reviews
- Perform Unit Testing, Perform peer reviews
- Assist in process compliance, Provide daily status update on assigned tasks
- Provide production support including all types of CR and bug fixes
- Maintain required technical skills based on the company’s strategies
- Work with the Team Lead to ensure project delivery and escalate issues when necessary
