Educational Qualifications critical for the Role: B E/ B Tech in Electronics & Telecommunications
Years of Experience required: Around 10 yrs of total experience, out of which, at least 7 yrs of hands-on experience in Cellular network (preferably in GSM) planning, RF planning, good understanding on and capacity etc.

Synopsis of the role
· Responsible planning of radio network planning in Assam and NE circles
· Leading a team of RF planner
· Responsible preparation of budget as per the subscriber projection, equipment dimensioning, RF planning, expansion requirement
· Equipment dimensioning – radio network equipment BSC, BTS
· Very good understanding and ability to analyse RF and quality related issues in the network
· Cellular Network optimization, RF, IBS
· Co-ordination with Zonal Business team from network coverage point of view
· Good understand on Drive Test parameters and post processing results, analysis of performance parameters and exposure to RF
· Handling of Driver test tools used in cellular network
· Incorporation of changes required as per the network rollout/ business needs
· Adheres to overall monthly plan and limits quarterly deviation below the targeted benchmark
· Ensures timely publishing of frequency plan on radio network
· Provides effective leadership to ensure team building and a motivated staff
· Generates and makes available all documents in time with 98% accuracy
· Coordinates with external agencies like NSN/ other equipment supplier etc. for design aspects of various equipment
· Experience in handling regulatory (TRAI) reports
· Ensure extension of coverage in more than 50% DHQs within 3 yrs of spectrum allocation as per regulatory norms
