Keltron BigLeap Finishing School (KBFS)

KBFS is a joint initiative of Keltron (A Govt of Kerala Undertaking)唯igLeap Softwares which operates on the Open Source Technologies (LAMP :Linux, Apache, MySql and PHP) and also follows the SaaS model Application Delivery, through which we maintain all the project in a centralized server, and hence have the advantage of working on the projects around the globe.


Job Description:

The Senior LAMP Developer function will be to help plan, design,develop, test, debug, and deploy highly-available applications using best-of-breed open source technologies.

An ideal candidate will be an extremely proficient PHP developer with JQuery, XML, CSS and XHTML experience and will be comfortable handling new challenges involving emerging open-source technologies.

2+ years of web development experience in a LAMP environment.
Experience in developing web applications to integrate with e-commerce, cms, crm and social networking platforms.

Solid experience with version control, JavaScript, Jquery, CSS, MySql, Linux(Shell Scripting) and a thorough understanding of OOP principles and production experience with one or more web applicable object oriented languages.

Hands on experience in Zend Framework/Cake PHP/Code Igniter/Symfony will be an added advantage.

Desired Candidate Profile

Provide a senior-level contribution to a team responsible for the design, development and implementation of critical web applications using best-of-breed open-source technologies

Work with traditional software lifecycle methodologies. Create design documents when and as required. Perform coding, debugging and testing.
Define the integration between proposed development projects and existing systems, software and hardware Work in a collaborative development environment, providing assistance & technical guidance to less experienced team members

Consider and research emerging technologies to improve current applications, architectures and processes.
