Essential Qualifications:
Doctoral Degree in relevant field of Agriculture, Extension/Horticulture/Animal Sciences /Fisheries including relevant basic science with 4 years experience as Scientist/Lecturer/Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay scale of Rs.8000-13500 having made contribution to research /teaching/extension education as evidenced by published work/innovations.
OR
Doctoral degree in relevant field of Agriculture/Horticulture/Animal Sciences/Fisheries including relevant basic sciences within 4 years experience of high quality post-doctoral research in an institution of repute evidenced by publications in high impact/renowned journals.
Desirable Qualifications:
Specialization in implementing extension education programmes Knowledge of local language.
Age Limit: Not more than 45 years on the date of advertisement.

Job Designation: Subject Matter Specialist in Horticulture (SMS)

Pay Scale: 15600-39100+ GP 5400
Essential Qualifications:
Graduate in Agricultural Sciences, Post graduate in Horticulture, with good academic record. Any prior working experience will be an added advantage. Knowledge of local language is essential
Desirable Qualification:
Two years experience in the KVK.
