Position: QA Engineer.
Location: Bangalore
Qualification: BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech / MCA 2+ years of relevant industry experience with in networking protocol QA domain
JOB DESCRIPTION
Ideal candidates should have a technical knowledge in protocols like TCP/IP, CIFS, MAPI, FTP, HTTPS, HTTP, and NFS seeking for a role in QA domain. If you are a person with can-do attitude, flexible and swift yet robust technical decision making personality, want to work with in a challenging start up in networking domain you are a perfect fit. You will design and create test infrastructure or test plan appropriately to perform unit level, system level and network level testing.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and automated functional tests as well as large-scale system tests, stress, scalability and performance tests.
- Work closely with developers and QA Engineers to design test criteria, test strategy, develop test plans and automation
- Review bug descriptions, functional requirements, and design documents
- Develop automated tests to replicate real-world scenarios that plug into a regression test harness
- Work in parallel on more than one QA project at a time
Required Skills: - Experience in testing network protocol software product on Linux platform for deploying into a large WAN network. - Core knowledge of L4-L7 layers of stack and experience in testing the functionality of any one protocol like CIFS, MAPI, FTP , HTTPS, HTTP, compressions technologies
- Should be very comfortable Scripting languages like Perl/ Shell / Python are required.
