About the Client:
Our Client is providing IT, Engineering and KPO services to its customers (primarily in US and European market) and having offices in US, UK and Germany. They work for a big publishing house in US which deals with Industrial Manufacturing companies. They list their product on their web site, create catalogue for them, and provide search engine facility.
Details about the position:
Position: Content Engineer
Location: Mumbai
Requisites:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.
- One or more years experience in an engineering design, development or production environment.
- Familiarity with the specification and operation of mechanical and electrical components and systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge about HTML, internet search logic and research databases are beneficial.
- Ability to function well in a detail and deadline oriented production environment.
- Excellent writing and verbal skills.
- The ability to summarize and communicate job requirements with attention to detail. Technical writing experience is a plus.
- Superb interpersonal skills with the ability to provide high level customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Design and manage the creation of online product catalogs for industrial and manufacturing clients in the USA.
- Responsible for consulting with US clients to gather their design requirements.
- Communicating client's requirements to production staff.
- Reviewing the quality of the production work performed, and interacting with the customer to get feedback and approval on the project.
- Utilize project management software to provide information on project status, schedule and costs to process managers.
- Provide feedback to process managers as necessary to improve the process / or tools.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly customer service attitude are a must.
